New Faculty Orientation

Welcome to the University of Kansas! New Faculty Orientation will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024.

We have outstanding, award-winning faculty at KU, and we are excited to welcome new members of our faculty community. Whether you were unable to attend spring orientation or will begin your career at KU in the fall, our New Faculty Orientation is a perfect way to get the academic year started!

Our New Faculty Orientation is a full-day event. It serves as an opportunity to hear from campus leaders; learn more about KU’s students; and become acquainted with key units that support teaching and research, provide course design resources, help with grant writing and funding, and foster professional development. Most importantly, New Faculty Orientation will provide you with a chance to connect with each other.
