Save-the-date for New Faculty Spring Orientation 2026

Welcome to the University of Kansas! New Faculty Spring Orientation takes place on Friday, January 16, 2026.

We have outstanding, award-winning faculty at KU, and we are excited to welcome new members of our faculty community. In the spring, we welcome faculty who started in the fall and were unable to attend our fall orientation and those who will join us this spring. New Faculty Spring Orientation is offered online, and is the perfect way to get started and make connections across KU! It serves as an opportunity to hear from campus leaders; learn more about KU’s students; and become acquainted with key units that support teaching and research, provide course design resources, help with grant writing and funding, and foster professional development.
